Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Email address — used to create and access your account. Provided by you at sign-up.
• Name — used to display your profile. Provided by you.
• Birthday — collected at sign-up and stored with your profile.
• Photos (optional) — a profile photo, and any photos you choose to share in group chats. They are stored on our secure storage backend. Chat photos are shown to the members of that group.
• Countdown and event content — the titles, dates, and descriptions you create in the app.
• Chat messages — messages you send in friend or group chats. Visible only to the people in that conversation.
• Reports — if you report a message or a person, we store the report, including a copy of the reported message or photo, so our team can review it.
• Push notification token — an Apple-issued device identifier used solely to deliver notifications you have opted into.
• Purchase history — records of subscription purchases and status, provided to us by our subscription processor (RevenueCat) and Apple.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect precise or coarse location, contacts, health data, financial account information, browsing history, search history, audio, video, or your phone number.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers.

How we use your information

• To run the app's core features (accounts, countdowns, notifications, chat, subscription entitlement).
• To generate personalized daily affirmations using the Anthropic Claude API, only if you allow it. The app asks for your permission before anything is sent, and you can turn this on or off anytime in Settings → AI Affirmations. When it is on, we send Anthropic the event name, event type, the tone you picked, your optional custom note and the number of days remaining. We never send your name, email address, birthday, photos or chat messages. The affirmation text Anthropic returns is stored on your account. If you decline, nothing is sent to Anthropic.

Keeping the community safe

Group chats are covered by our Community Guidelines, which every user agrees to before chatting. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

• Messages, group names and profile names containing slurs or sexual content are blocked automatically.
• You can report any message or person from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that break the rules.
• You can block anyone. Their messages are hidden from you immediately and any friendship is removed. Manage blocked users in Settings → Safety → Blocked Users.

Third-party services we rely on

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — daily affirmation generation.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivering notifications.

Each of these services processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, profile, birthday, events, affirmations, chat messages, and all photos you uploaded (profile and chat photos). Reports you submitted or that were made about content may be kept, without your account linked, for as long as needed to enforce our rules or comply with the law.

Children

321 Finish is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We do not use any custom cryptography.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
